Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Journal of Northeast Petroleum University is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards. In order to ensure the outcome of providing our readers with an academic journal of high quality,we list a few of the most important principles of publishing ethics for reference by authors, peer-reviewers and editors.For more details, please refer to the official website of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works; authors are obliged to participate in peer review process; all authors have significantly contributed to the research; the authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes. When the authors use other materials or sources, authors should provide a list of references, financial support. Any attempt of plagiarism should be followed by the rejection of the submitted manuscript. Authors should not submit the same work or describe essentially the same research in more than one journal. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior, unless otherwise specified.
All of our journal’s content should be subjected to peer-reviews. The reviewers are bound to treat the manuscript received for peer reviewing as confidential, and must not use the information obtained through peer review for personal advantage. The reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers. All judgments and findings in the peer-review process are objective; reviewers should have no conflict of interest; reviewers should point out relevant published work which is not yet cited; and reviewed articles should be treated confidentially prior to their publication.
Publishers and editors shall take reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred, journal’s publisher or editors are made aware of any allegation of research misconduct the publisher or editor shall deal with allegations appropriately. In evaluating the submitted works, the editors should limit themselves only to the intellectual content. The editors can choose to ignore any material that breaks legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editors must ensure the confidentiality of the submitted works until they are published, except in the case of suspicion of double submission. In case the editors decide not to publish a material, the manuscript should not be used for other purposes without the express written consent of the author. The editor of a submitted manuscript must not have a stake in the authors.
The copyright notice can be seen on the third cover of the journal. The copyright of publication belongs to etiorial department of Journal of Northeast Petroleum University, it shall not be reproduced in any form without written permission. Etiorial department of Journal of Northeast Petroleum University has the right to publish the electronic or online version of the published articles. The fees are included in the remuneration paid for authors.The copyright agreement with the authors is stated on the URL: https://xuebao.nepu.edu.cn/info/1062/10518.htm. The journal and individual articles are available on jounal’s homepage (https://xuebao.nepu.edu.cn/index.htm) and other databases that we've added (charge by times).
